Está cada vez mais complicada a permanência de Ricardo Oliveira no Santos para a próxima temporada. Após a sugestão do novo presidente do clube, José Carlos Peres, sobre renovar por mais um ano, o agente do jogador classificou como difícil um acordo nesses termos.

Em contato com o LANCE!, Augusto Castro, empresário de Oliveira, relatou que o tempo de contrato oferecido pelo Peixe, caso não for revisto, deve significar a saída do atleta.

– Pela proposta de mais um ano de contrato, a chance de Oliveira renovar é menor. A tendência é de não renovar – afirmou Augusto, que espera estender o vínculo por mais dois anos, exigência essencial para que aceite a proposta.

Na última segunda-feira, em reunião do Conselho do clube, o presidente santista falou da possibilidade de renovação com o centroavante, mas condicionou sua permanência ao acordo de apenas mais uma temporada.

– Ricardo Oliveira será analisado pelo novo diretor e técnico. Há um obstáculo que ele quer dois anos, mas não dá pra fazer contrato de dois anos, pois seria prejuízo para o clube. Se ele topar um ano ele fica – declarou José Carlos Peres.

Está prevista para esta semana uma reunião entre as partes para discutir os termos de uma possível renovação, mas até o momento o encontro não foi agendado. Em caso de não haver acordo, Ricardo Oliveira deixa o Santos de forma oficial no fim deste ano, quando termina seu contrato.

The Lowdown: Contract stalemate

There is still a stalemate between Dembele and FC Barcelona over a new deal, with manager Xavi recently claiming that he needs to renew his deal or look to leave in the January transfer window.

The winger is out of contract in the summer, and has recently released a statement claiming that talks are ‘ongoing’ over a potential new deal, should demands be met.

Nonetheless, with the days ticking by and Barca more likely to want to sell so long as the new contract is not signed, it may present an opportunity for the St. James’ Park faithful to pounce.

The Latest: Dembele offer?

As per CBS Sports journalist Jacobs, the North East club have not put forward an official offer for Dembele as of yet, but they have been ‘considering’ signing him since November:

“I am told neither Newcastle or Manchester United have tabled an official offer yet.

“Xavi wants an answer on Dembele’s renewal (which would force him to take a wage cut) this week to allow time for a possible January transfer.”

The Verdict: Potential bargain

If the Magpies can persuade Dembele to come to Tyneside, then it could turn out to be a potential bargain, thanks to his contract situation.

He should be available for a cut price with just six months left, or they could even sign him up on a pre-contract agreement for free, although the latter would be risky given uncertainty over their Premier League status at the end of the season.

Described as ‘unplayable’ at times by Rio Ferdinand, the Frenchman will want to prove why Barca spent so much money to get him from Borussia Dortmund back in 2017, and it’s fair to say the Toon Army have an appreciation for skilful French wingers.

It is hard to forget that he is still only 24 years of age, having had so much promise so young, as former teammate Lionel Messi even went as far as to call his ability ‘frightening’ back when he was at the Nou Camp.

Nonetheless, Dembele has a point to prove, and Eddie Howe’s team could reap the benefits from it.

Flocking to Twitter, many West Ham United fans have been left talking after Sky Sports shared a live TV transfer update involving their club.

Manager David Moyes, seeking to maintain his side’s push for a Champions League-qualifying spot whilst continuing to battle in the FA Cup and Europa League, will need reinforcements before January 31.

The club have been linked with signing a new striker, central defender, Jesse Lingard and potentially a left-back this month as reliable reports suggest these are the priorities of Moyes and recruitment chief Rob Newman (The Evening Standard).

Nearly half way through the window, West Ham are still yet to seal any deals, with Sky sharing the latest on their transfer plans on live TV.

As relayed by the broadcast giant on their Transfer Show, presented by Sky reporters Kaveh Solhehol and Dharmesh Sheth, Moyes has personally set his sights on ‘forward and centre-back options’ with the Scotsman revealing he has GSB’s backing.

“David Moyes says the West Ham board have told him he has money to spend if he wants to strengthen his squad,” they explained.

“Moyes is looking at forward and centre-back options.”

O jogo de ida da decisão, em Americana, terminou empatado em 1 a 1. O Verdão tinha a vantagem dos resultados iguais por possuir a melhor campanha do torneio. A equipe de Wesley Carvalho foi campeã com 23 vitórias, cinco empates e apenas duas derrotas. Nos mata-matas, deixou São Bernardo, Corinthians e Novorizontino para trás, além da Ponte.

A base alviverde teve um ano glorioso: o clube chegou à decisão do Paulistão em todas as categorias, sendo campeão sub-20, sub-15 e sub-11 e vice-campeão sub-17 e sub-13. O sub-17 ainda conquistou a Copa do Brasil.

No jogo deste sábado, o Palmeiras passou o tempo todo golpeando a Macaca. O goleiro Ivan fez seis defesas difíceis ao longo da primeira etapa, mas não conseguiu evitar que José Aldo convertesse o pênalti cometido por Handerson sobre Léo Passos aos 35 minutos. Handerson recebeu amarelo neste lance e foi expulso logo aos três minutos da etapa final após outra falta em cima de Léo Passos.

Mesmo com um homem a menos, a Ponte Preta incomodou mais o goleiro Daniel Fuzato no segundo tempo, mas isso não significa que a vantagem alviverde tenha ficado sob ameaça em algum momento. Pelo contrário: as melhores oportunidades da etapa final foram do Palmeiras, mas Fernando e Yan não aproveitaram.

Tamim Iqbal’s dazzling hundred was a glimpse of the talent that lies latent in the country, but the soft dismissals and clumsy fielding from his team-mates showed just how far they have to go before they can regularly challenge the best sides.England, for all their improvement in recent times, are not one of the world’s best. Their battery of medium-pace bowlers looked all too inviting at times on the lifeless pitch and, with England returning to Bangladesh in little under a year for the World Cup, it’s an area the management will have to consider.Alastair Cook will be relieved to have secured his first victory as England captain but will be most satisfied with his own performance. His brisk 64 at the top of the order showed that the hard work he has put into his game has started to pay, but he’ll more of the same and it was not enough to earn him a place in the provisional squad for the World Twenty20. Another strong performance will help him retain the authority he exuded in the opening fixture, which will be important as the tour wears on.His opposite number, Shakib Al Hasan, did not quite match him with the bat, getting bogged down too easily, but his inventive captaincy – bringing himself on in the third over – and clever left-arm spin will be crucial for a fielding side that still lacks bite. Shakib Al Hasan is a vital cog in that position, averaging 37.47 with two hundreds since Bangladesh’s successful trip to the West Indies in July last year. He can also score quickly when the mood takes him, as his 85 against India at Mirpur in January showed. The quality of his bowling will also be vital to Bangladesh’s success.It was no surprise in the first game that when England’s pace bowlers came unstuck Graeme Swann stepped up to give his captain control and vital breakthroughs. He was England’s go-to bowler on their recent tour of South Africa and continued his good form with 3 for 32 to undermine Tamim’s innings. On a dry pitch he found potent turn and will be England’s main threat in the second match.Team newsIt was Bangladesh’s batting – Tamim aside – that failed to fire in the first game, and although their bowlers struggled to defend the sub-par total, it is unlikely there will be changes to the line-up.
