The midfielder was forced off the training pitch after sustaining a knock and will require further tests to determine the extent of the injury. He is expected to receive treatment in the coming days, but the problem isn't thought to be serious, according to .

Camavinga's knock comes at an inopportune time for Los Blancos. They already find themselves shorthanded in defensive midfield, with Aurelien Tchouameni not expected to return until the new year. There is, however, cover at left-back — Camavinga's other position — with Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy waiting in the wings.

Camavinga is the youngest player since 1914 to represent the French national team, after making his debut at 17 years and 303 days, coming on at half-time against Croatia in September 2020. Paris Saint-Germain youngster Warren Zaire-Emery could break that record if he makes an appearance in either of France's Euro 2024 qualifiers this week.

The Madrid midfielder will undergo tests in the coming days to determine the severity of the injury, as Ancelotti will hope that another key player doesn't face an extended spell out of the side.

Chelsea, Inter and the teams Messi has never scored against

Of all the teams the Barcelona forward has faced, he has failed to hit the net against just 12, including Tuesday's Champions League opponents

A career spent as one of the world's most prolific goalscorers and perennially at the top of the game, Lionel Messi has upset a huge number of teams as a star for Barcelona.

The Argentine's exploits have led the Catalan side to global success and helped keep them within the top echelons of European football.

So consistent has Messi been that it is easier to name the teams he has failed to score against in his senior career since he emerged in Barca's senior side as a 17-year-old in October 2004.

Of all the teams Messi has faced in the near 13 and a half years since his first appearance for the Blaugrana, he has failed to hit the net against just 12.

He will get the chance to knock one of those teams off the list on Tuesday when his side visit Chelsea in the Champions League. Goal runs through the teams the Camp Nou icon has never scored against.

Getty12Gramenet

Messi's third official appearance and first start for Barcelona was also his first defeat with the senior side, as Frank Rijkaard's men lost to Gramenet in the Copa del Rey.

Despite the presence of Messi, Henrik Larsson and Andres Iniesta in the starting XI, the Blaugrana could not find a way through against the third-tier team and conceded the decisive goal in extra-time.

It is the only time Messi has come up against his side's Catalan neighbours.

AdvertisementGetty11Udinese

With just one goal to his name for the Camp Nou outfit, Messi was still far off the level that carried him to five Ballons d'Or when he lined up against Udinese in September 2005.

Back then, he was just a promising youngster lucky enough to be playing in attack alongside Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o.

It was the Brazilian who showed he was still the grandmaster in the Champions League encounter, scoring a hat-trick in a 4-1 win.

Messi, meanwhile, was withdrawn in the 70th minute and although he scored in his next Champions League appearance, he was left out of the next two group games, one of which was the return clash with Udinese.

Getty10Cadiz

In December 2005, Messi missed another rare chance to add another name to his long list of victims in a game against Cadiz.

The Argentine got an assist as Barca won 3-1, setting up Samuel Eto'o early in the second half.

Messi was injured when the two sides met later in the season in a much tighter affair but, luckily, Ronaldinho was on hand to score the winning goal as Barca went on to win the league.

He has not faced them since.

The 2007-08 season may have been a disappointment for Barcelona, as they finished third in La Liga, an incredible 18 points behind champions Real Madrid.

However, it ended with a lot of fun, as they recovered from the concession of an early goal to storm to a 5-1 lead over Real Murcia in the final game of the season.

Messi again got two assists, but it was Giovani dos Santos who took the plaudits for his hat-trick. While Barca have faced Murcia several times since, Messi has not played in any of those games.

South Korea Women's World Cup 2023 squad: Who's in & who's out?

Who will Colin Bell pick in his final squad? GOAL takes a look…

The South Korean national women's team is set to play in their fourth FIFA Women's World Cup finals in July, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand.

Their best finish was in the 2015 edition when they reached the round of 16 but were beaten 3-0 by France.

They qualified for the 2023 Women's World Cup by virtue of making it to the last four of the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup. In fact, they surpassed the qualification standard and made it to the final of the continental competition but lost 3-2 to China to finish as runners-up.

In 2023, they have not been able to hit the top gear as they have won only two out of five matches. They lost all three matches against England, Belgium and Italy respectively in the Clark Cup before returning to winning ways against Zambia at home in April

They have been drawn in Group H in the Women's World Cup along with South Korea, Colombia, Morocco and Germany.

Who can Ian Bell pick in the World Cup squad? GOAL takes a look…

Getty ImagesGOALKEEPERS

Kim Jung-mi is the number one choice between the sticks for South Korea. She was the preferred shot-stopper during the Clark Cup friendlies in Europe and also had the gloves during one of the friendlies against Zambia.

She has more than 130 caps to her name and there is little doubt that Bell trusts her skills under the bar. Barring any injury concerns she should have the gloves in Australia.

Yoon Young-geul, the 35-year-old keeper of Swedish side BK Hacken is another experienced candidate and is a solid backup keeper. While the third spot can go to Suwon UDC's young keeper Kim Kyeong-hee.

Name Club

Bell sets his defence up according to the strengths of the opposition. While he mostly likes to field a three-woman backline, sometimes he can shift to a more traditional four players in defence.

The three central defenders are most likely to be Kim Hye-ri, Lim Seon-joo, and Hong Hye-ji. The first two are counted among the most experienced candidates in the squad and boast of having more than 100 caps. Meanwhile, 26-year-old Hong is following in the footsteps of his senior colleagues and has established herself as an integral part of Korea's defence.

If one of the three is unavailable or injured, then Shim Seo-yeon or Kim Yun-Ji is called upon to fill in the vacancy.

Whereas, if Bell shifts to a back four, which is rare, then among the three centre-backs two are chosen, while Choo Hyo-Joo and Jang Sel-gi are the two full-backs. And in the other case, Choo & Jang are deployed as the right and left wing-backs.

Bell usually has three midfielders at the centre of the park to complement his two advanced wing-backs. While two of them are likely to position themselves right before the central defenders to plug in the gaps, one of them will have the license to join the attack.

The manager has plenty of quality at his disposal and he usually likes to shuffle the pack. Cho So-Hyun and Ji So-yun are the two most experienced players with close to 150 caps each and they are the two preferred options at the centre of the park.

They are mostly joined by Son Hwa-yeon of Incheon Hyundai SRA in an advanced role. Whereas, Jang Yu-bin of Seoul WFC is an upcoming talent whom Bell likes to introduce in the latter stages of the game and she will be the one to look out for in Australia.

Getty ImagesFORWARDS

Bell is spoilt for choices when it comes to selecting his forwards. Jung Seol-bin might be given the responsibility to lead the lines. The 33-year-old plies her trade with Incheon Hyundai SRA and has 22 international goals in her career.

Meanwhile, Brighton's Lee Geum-min acts as the perfect foil for Jung. The Brighton forward scored five goals in two matches against Zambia in April and will hope to bring her best form in the tournament.

Park Eun-sun is another option and she has the experience to make a difference at the highest stages. On a few occasions, Bell has used Park & Jung as two strikers upfront with Lee operating from a bit deeper position.

Inspired by the bridge between Manchester and Salford that was built during the industrial revolution, the iconic red rose takes its shape as an all-over geometric pattern across the entire jersey.

The bridge over the river Irwell is an enduring symbol of the deep connection Mancunians have with the city’s industrial legacy. It is widely considered a mark of Manchester’s strength and how, like the industrial revolution, the city influenced the wider world.

The bold striking new pattern sits on a primarily red block design with the club crest and adidas logo featured on the chest in white. Completing the design is a striped flat knit crew neck collar, which sports the red, white, and black club colours.

The new Manchester United 2023-24 home kit will be worn for the first time when Manchester United play Leeds United FC in Norway on July 12.

Real Madrid are ready to make their final offer for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe in January, but it will come with one major catch.

Madrid will make Mbappe offer in JanuaryWill give striker just two weeks to decideOtherwise will target Haaland insteadWHAT HAPPENED?

Madrid are ready to make a final offer for Mbappe in January, but will only give the forward until the 15th of the month to make a decision on his future, according to AS. Mbappe is out of contract in the summer and will be free to negotiate with Los Blancos. Madrid have already missed out on Mbappe once, and are determined not to do so again. However, if he does not agree a deal by the club's deadline, then they will switch their focus to Manchester City's Erling Haaland instead.

AdvertisementGettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE

Mbappe remains a crucial figure for PSG and has scored 15 goals in 13 Ligue 1 appearances for the club so far this season. The French giants remain keen to keep hold of Mbappe but have not yet been able to reach an agreement on a new contract. It remains to be seen what Mbappe will do next, but Madrid appear to be willing to move on swiftly if he does not agree a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu. Haaland is said to have a release clause in his Manchester City contract that can be triggered by teams outside of England in 2024.

Getty ImagesDID YOU KNOW?

Haaland has just broken Mbappe's record to become the youngest player to score 40 goals in the Champions League at the age of 23 years and 130 days. The Manchester City striker is also the fastest player to achieve the landmark, needing just 35 games to hit the milestone in Europe's premier club competition.

WHAT NEXT FOR MBAPPE & HAALAND?

Mbappe's future could become clearer in the coming weeks, with the France international free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with other clubs from January 1st if he has not renewed with PSG. The 24-year-old has long been Madrid's top target, but will have to make a decision on his future quickly if he is to link up with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior in the Spanish capital.

West Indies fight but England in control

The second day of the series involved a similar scenario to the first with West Indies dominating the opening session, but England ending with the advantage

Report by Andrew McGlashan14-Apr-2015West Indies 155 for 4 (Chanderpaul 29*, Blackwood 30*) trail England 399 (Bell 143, Root 83, Stokes 79, Roach 4-94) by 244 runs

Dobell: West Indies showed discipline and pride

The second day of the series involved a similar scenario to the first, with West Indies dominating the opening session but England ending with the advantage. The home side’s quicks had another excellent morning to restrict England to 399 but their reply was a stuttering affair as they stumbled to 155 for 4.There was good bowling on display throughout the day, firstly by West Indies’ pace trio and then the collective five-man England unit led by James Anderson, who moved one wicket closer to breaking Ian Botham’s Test record. Successes were hard-earned, as they should be, and Chris Jordan’s brilliant low catch at slip brought Kraigg Brathwaite’s scalp to leave West Indies tottering on 99 for 4. Shivnarine Chanderpaul, in a familiar role, and Jermaine Blackwood, who was given a life on 21 when Ben Stokes overstepped having taken the edge, battled to the close with West Indies still 244 behind.England began the day with eyes on a total around 500 but instead ended up just short of 400. In all, going back to Ian Bell’s dismissal late on the first evening, England’s last six wickets fell for 58 and that included a stand of 38 by the final pair of Jordan and Anderson. There was a period of five consecutive maidens, which highlighted West Indies’ early grip on proceedings. That stranglehold included the removal of both overnight batsmen, Stokes and James Tredwell, then Jos Buttler struggled through a 22-ball duck and Stuart Broad’s batting woes continued. The combination of Bell, Stokes and Joe Root contributed 305 of England’s runs; the rest 70.Anderson, who had flayed 20 via five boundaries in his 100th Test, responded with an outstanding opening spell which included the scalp of Devon Smith, who was worked over before edging to Buttler. Jordan, without quite the same consistency of line or length in his first spell, provided the second breakthrough when Darren Bravo was late trying to withdraw his bat.Brathwaite impressed in South Africa with his steel and determination, traits that were again on show as he withstood the early forays. Marlon Samuels, meanwhile, was more aggressive from the outset and was aided by four overthrows when he took a quick single to the off side and Anderson’s throw – a justifiable one as Samuels would have been short – was just wide of the stumps.Chris Jordan went low to his right at slip to take a fantastic catch•Getty ImagesHowever, Samuels was removed by a smart piece of bowling by Broad shortly after tea when he rolled his fingers across the ball and found the outside edge. In finest Hannibal style, a plan had clearly come together, given the applause from the bowling coach Ottis Gibson on the balcony and Broad himself.During this period, Tredwell was wheeling away through what would become a 12-over spell. His selection is viewed more as an indictment of English spin resources than recognition for Tredwell – and there is an element of truth to that argument – but he performed his role admirably, using his experience with subtle changes of pace. His reward was to remove the nuggety Brathwaite, who edged a ball on the back foot, but it was the grab at slip by Jordan, low to his right, which was the show-stopping moment.Blackwood responded by putting his second ball, from Tredwell, over long-off and was a curious combination of defence and the occasional moment of outright aggression. Chanderpaul did what he has done forever and a day. However, although West Indies resisted well during the closing stages of the day – with a little help from Stokes’ errant front foot – the signs are that batting last will not be an easy task on this surface so much work remains to narrow the deficit. To start with they will need a good morning session on the third day, and for that at least the omens are promising given the way the match has gone so far. Whatever Curtly Ambrose said during a passionate team talk shortly before play clearly had the desired effect on West Indies’ bowlers. Kemar Roach and Jerome Taylor soon settled into their work before Jason Holder followed them with an exacting spell of 7-4-14-1. The frustration will be that the disciplines of line and length deserted them for two sessions on Monday.Stokes angled one boundary down to third man before succumbing attempting a repeat which landed in the lap of a fine gully. The shot was neither one thing nor the other, which was a contrast to the conviction Stokes had shown for much of his innings. Tredwell’s stint as nightwatchman ended with a flat-footed drive that gave Bravo his third catch of the innings. Buttler was given nothing to free his arms against before he could resist no longer and edged a very full delivery.Broad has spoken very honestly about the problems he has faced with the bat since returning to the side after knee surgery, a delayed reaction to the blow from Varun Aaron at Old Trafford which broke his nose. On this occasion it took Roach just three deliveries to entice him into driving a soft catch to point. The most fluent batting of the morning came from the last-wicket pair as Jordan and Anderson managed to put bat to ball with decent impact. Jordan provided a reminder of his very solid technique while Anderson unfurled a couple of boundaries that revived the “Burnley Lara” tag. His fun came to end when he popped a catch to cover against Samuels and attention turned to his attempts to pass Botham’s England wicket-taking record.

Neymar, Pogba, Ozil and 12 stars who need a transfer this summer

The reasons for wanting to leave may differ but some of the biggest names in the game will be desperate to engineer a move before the window closes

GettyNeymar (PSG)

Despite his record-breaking £198 million ($248m) transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 to pursue a new challenge away from Barcelona, Neymar has never appeared truly happy in Ligue 1.

The Brazilian forward essentially moved to the Parc des Princes to win both the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or. He has achieved neither goal.

PSG have now conceded that their statement signing is for sale at the right price after Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu finally confirmed the 27-year-old is keen to leave his current club.

This transfer saga could run all summer along but one can be sure that Neymar and his entourage will be doing everything to secure a return to Camp Nou.

AdvertisementGetty ImagesPaul Pogba (Manchester United)

The Pogba circus is currently on a pre-season tour in Australia but the Manchester United midfielder has already admitted that he wants a new challenge and his agent, Mino Raiola, is already paving the way for his client's departure.

The 26-year-old is poised to either join fellow Frenchman Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid or return to Juventus after becoming disillusioned with life at Old Trafford.

When motivated, there is no doubt that Pogba is a world-class player, as underlined by his record of 16 goals and 11 assists from midfield in all competitions last season, but it looks as if he's determined to join a club capable of winning the Champions League.

OSCAR DEL POZOGareth Bale (Real Madrid)

There is no doubting Bale's ability to be a match-winner but he has fallen out of favour at Real Madrid, both with the club's fans and, even more importantly, coach Zinedine Zidane.

The Wales international, who turns 30 in the coming days, could clearly do with a change of scenery but his wages, reportedly £350,000 a week after tax, represent a major stumbling block for potential suitors.

Nonetheless, Bale has been linked with a move to Manchester United as part of a deal to bring Pogba to the Spanish capital, while former employers Tottenham are also believed to be interested.

GettyMesut Ozil (Arsenal)

Ozil is a playmaker with extraordinary talent but the German just isn't the right fit for the kind of football Arsenal boss Unai Emery is trying to play at the Emirates.

At 30, the attacking midfielder is hardly going to change his ways now and would be better linking up with a coach willing to build a side around him.

However, there has, as of yet, been no interest in a player who is on a whopping £350,000 a week in north London.

Diogo Jota – not Richarlison – has the last laugh! Winners & losers as Jurgen Klopp's hamstring pays the price for Liverpool's late show against Tottenham

It was a tale of two substitutes in stoppage time as the Reds beat Spurs 4-3 at Anfield after a frenzied contest

Diogo Jota was the hero for Liverpool as they secured a remarkable 4-3 win over Tottenham at Anfield to move up to fifth in the Premier League table.

The substitute's 94th-minute strike delivered a fourth successive win for Jurgen Klopp's side, who had led 3-0 inside 15 minutes before being pegged back by a spirited Spurs outfit.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min were both on target for Ryan Mason's men, and when one of their substitutes, Richarlison, bundled in a 93th-minute leveller, it looked as if the Londoners were leaving with a hard-earned point.

Jota, though, stayed cool to capitalise on a defensive mistake in front of the Kop, sparking wild scenes. In the frenzy, Klopp was booked for celebrating in the face of fourth official John Brooks, and appeared to pull a hamstring in the process.

A fitting end to a madcap afternoon.

GOAL breaks down the winners & losers from Anfield…

Getty ImagesWINNER: Diogo Jota

The Liverpool fans were heading for the exits. Annoyed.

Their side has been doing their heads in for months, and they had certainly done their heads in here. From 3-0 up and cruising, to 3-3 and watching a former Evertonian rub their noses in it. The story of the Reds' season, you could say.

Not quite. As Richarlison put his shirt back on, Liverpool launched a ball forward, Lucas Moura made a terrible error, and Jota punished him severely.

It was a superb finish, cool and calm in any context, never mind this one. Jota celebrated by pretending to play a PlayStation. Fitting, really, given the unbelievable nature of the contest.

This was the Portuguese's fifth goal in his last four matches, a welcome return to form indeed. At his best, he is aggressive, dangerous and decisive. We have seen flashes of the old Jota of late.

Tottenham, of course, will feel he should not have been on the pitch after catching Oliver Skipp with a dangerously-high boot. They probably have a point, too.

Liverpool, though, will be extremely glad he was.

AdvertisementGetty ImagesLOSER: Lucas Moura

Oh dear Lucas, what were you thinking?!

After one Brazilian substitute had hauled Tottenham off the canvas, another delivered the knockout blow to Ryan Mason's men.

Moura, sent on to chase the game, ended up costing Spurs it, his errant pass presenting Jota with a chance he gobbled up gratefully.

It's not been a great few weeks for Moura, who was sent off having come off the bench at Everton earlier this month. This was his first game back from suspension, and another trip to Merseyside he'll want to forget quickly.

GettyWINNER: Luis Diaz

If Jota's return to form and fitness is a welcome boost for Klopp, then so is that of another Liverpool attacking star.

Diaz has had a lot to think about during his six months on the sideline with a knee injury, but he's made an encouraging return in recent weeks.

Handed a start here after a trio of substitute cameos, the Colombian marked it in style, with his first goal since September and an all-action, box office performance from the left wing.

He was simply too much for Pedro Porro, Spurs' overworked right wing-back, Diaz's touch, running power and combination play ensuring Liverpool started the game like a train.

He got the Reds' second goal, producing a superb near-post finish from Cody Gakpo's pull-back, and though he was never going to last the full game after so long out, the ovation he received when replaced by Jota, just after the hour mark, said it all.

Back in the team, back in the goals. Back on song, for Liverpool.

Getty ImagesLOSER: Richarlison

If Carlsberg did finales…

Richarlison must have been thinking about the Evertonian tweets and messages he was about to receive. He'd scored the equaliser and silenced Anfield, after all. His shirt was off, and the Tottenham fans were mobbing him. His first Spurs Premier League goal. He was the hero.

Football, though, has a funny way of biting you on the backside, especially when you live your life as a wind-up merchant, and within 99 seconds, the smile had been well and truly wiped off the Brazilian's face.

The last laugh belonged to Jota, and to Liverpool.

Spain player ratings vs Scotland: Full-backs Dani Carvajal & Pedro Porro FLOP as much-rotated La Roja are humbled by Scotland

Scott McTominay scored twice to lift Scotland past a lifeless Spain side at Hampden Park.

Errors from two full-backs marked a forgettable evening for a much-changed Spain team, as La Roja fell 2-0 to Scotland.

Pedro Porro made the first mistake, easily ceding the ball to an advancing Andy Robertson, who fed McTominay for a 1-0 Scotland lead inside 10 minutes.

La Roja did show some fight for the remainder of the first period, with Joselu rattling the bar and Porro forcing a diving stop out of Angus Gunn.

Then, a second error doomed the Spanish. Dani Carvajal was barged off the ball by a surging Kieran Tierney, whose angled cross deflected into the path of McTominay to hand the home side a 2-0 advantage — an unassailable deficit for Luis de la Fuente's side.

GOAL rates Spain's players from Hampden Park…

Getty ImagesGoalkeeper & Defence

Kepa Arrizabalaga (5/10):

Couldn't really do anything about either goal. Almost allowed a rather harmless free kick to float in.

Pedro Porro (3/10):

Gave the ball away in the run up to Scotland's opener, seemed rattled by Robertson's gamesmanship. Subbed at half time.

David Garcia (5/10):

Lost track of his man on a couple of occasions. His poor clearance fell perfectly to McTominay for Scotland's second.

Inigo Martinez (6/10):

Progressed the ball well, good in the air. Probably Spain's only good performer on the night.

Jose Gaya (5/10):

Certainly didn't lack for legs, but his final ball was lacking.

Rodri (6/10):

Composed as ever on the ball, offered a much-needed calm in the middle of the pitch.

Mikel Merino (6/10):

Was up for the fight in central midfield, and moved the ball well. Could have done with some support in front of him, though.

Yeremi Pino (5/10):

Deployed first on the right, and didn't offer much. Then switched to the left, where he didn't offer much.

Dani Ceballos (5/10):

Scarcely given room to operate as a No. 10. Didn't create a single chance.

Mikel Oyarzabal (4/10):

Wasn't the expressive presence that Spain needed. Replaced by Nico Williams at half time.

Joselu (5/10):

Caused problems with his height and physicality, putting two headers on target inside the first 25 minutes. The former Stoke striker was largely ineffective after, and removed after 66 minutes.

Subs & Manager

Dani Carvajal (3/10):

Brought on at half time. Horribly slow in the run-up to Scotland's second. Legs looked gone.

Nico Williams (5/10):

Offered more of a threat in behind, ran at Robertson. Didn't provide the right pass, though.

Iago Aspas (4/10):

Fluffed his lines immediately after being introduced. Could have been sent off for a reckless elbow.

Borja Iglesias (4/10):

Brought on to relieve Joselu. Touched the ball four times in nearly 30 minutes of work.

Gavi (N/A):

Introduced in the 79th minute, which was about 79 minutes too late.
